As Delaware first responders, healthcare organizations, homeless shelters, nursing homes, and essential employees struggle to procure necessary equipment to meet COVID-19 demands, Donate Delaware, a 501(c)(3) organization, has banded together to help!
Donate Delaware is an initiative led by Dave Tiberi, a local businessman in Delaware. In response to the pandemic here in Delaware, they have joined forces to create a program that helps Delaware secure proper equipment for first responders and healthcare organizations to meet COVID-19 demands.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, Donate Delaware has secured the support of more than 100 businesses, coordinated 16 locations for safety products, and procured over 25,000 N95 masks. Recently, Donate Delaware received $4,000 worth of hand sanitizers and masks that will be used in partnership with Downtown Visions to disseminate the items to 400 homeless in Wilmington.
